"Where I'm From' is the hugely enjoyable new eleven track album from North Carolina based rock band The Southern Experience. This album has all the fundamentals I like about Southern rock albums that strikes that chord with me for its rich diversity, fun energy and passion, the band stick to the formula but manage to add in their own stamp which keeps the overall feel of the album fresh, add to that a crisp mix courtesy of Rusty Milner (Marshall Tucker Band) and super production sound by Tim Lawter (also Marshall Tucker Band) and you have an album that after a few spins pulls you right in. A lot of care and attention has gone into the creation of the album, it baffles me as to why bands like The Southern Experience are not huge.
